Our Baby Grizzly, Lucky Is Considered a Bear Now

Lucky, was born January 21st weighing about 8 ounces, but he has grown tremendously. He was  the runt in a litter of three. He is is pictured with his brother and sister at the bottom of the page. He is the smallest one in each of the photos, the middle baby in the bottom left picture and the baby on the left in the bottom right picture. His brother and sister have gone to live in other zoos and are both well and happy. Lucky was 4 months old and weighed about 15 lbs in the 2 middle photos, but in the last 3 months he has grown to 75 lbs and is quite a handful for his trainer. Lucky is considered a bear now so he stays in the same pen as his older sister Layla.
